another weird connection between the doors and the lost boys is that jason patric also auditioned for the role of jim morrison but lost out to val kilmer.
AND i really like the doors, but hate rush. i hate them so much that i wrote this haiku for them a couple years ago:

Yeah. That was the Neverland Amusement Park, which was swallowed up by a crack in the earth during a big Earthquake early last century or something like that. I think that was the story. It was one of the Peter Pan references in the movie.
